My name is Ann Martin and I have been involved with and immersed in the dog show
world my whole life. My mother started raising American cockers in the late 1960s and
still exhibits regularly with her Miniature longhaired Dachshunds.

I have been grooming professionally for the past 23 years. In the early 1990s I started
attending grooming contests and did well.

During the short 5 year span of time that I competed I garnered many Best in Shows
and Best All-around Groomer Awards. 1993-1996 member of Groom Team USA. Winning Best
Team Groomer of the Year 1996, and the Cardinal Crystal Achievement for Best American
Groomer. I then only competed at Intergroom the largest most prestigious show in the US and
won many gold and silver medals. I was first runner up in 1997 in the Oster Tournament of
Champions and won that competition in 1998. (This competition being an invitational to the top
35 groomers in the world) I then retired completely as I was pregnant with my first son Tanner.

I still remain active in the grooming industry on a National level as I am a certifier for the
National Dog Groomers Ass. Of America, and an Oster Ambassador. I regularly perform
educational services and judge grooming contests.

My dog breeding experience started in the 1985 when I bought my first Australian Kelpie
and started competing in herding trials. I later had a large breeding project of working dogs
and raised and showed sheep. Of course once I got my first poodle I was converted and have
never looked back.

Having raised herding dogs for so long and dealing with shop dogs in my grooming salon gave
me a unique perspective raising and training pups and show dogs. Temperament and health
are of paramount importance and if dogs don't measure up to those standards they are removed
from the breeding program. I spay or neuter them and they are placed as companions. All my
companion puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract.

Being concerned with genetic temperament I am also very adamant about correct socialization
of our puppies. They are exposed to all kinds of interesting things from the time they are toddling
and played with by my top assistants. (My four sons-Tanner, Hunter, Wyatt, and Garrett)

I am dedicated to raising sound, healthy, beautiful Poodles that excel in Conformation,
Performance and as Family Companions.
